Mercedes Mercado pleased film audiences worldwide when she co-starred with Brittany Murphy as the hilarious Honey Squeeze in the blockbuster romantic comedy, Little Black Book. After playing a sarcastic rapper’s girlfriend in that film she then took a turn as a hired assassin in the John Singleton production of Illegal Tender directed by Franc Reyes (Empire).

In the soon to be released film, Cash Collectors (Michael Madsen stars), she plays yet another assassin.
Her earlier work includes appearing as a dancer in music videos and an eye-catching role in Shaft.
Mercedes grew up in New York City seeing many sides of life. She was a prodigy and entered college at sixteen. She’s fluent in three languages including Spanish and French. After college, she studied acting at the famous Susan Grace Cohen Studio.
Her sensitive nature and high intellect polish Mercedes’ persona. Her goal in life is to create meaningful stories and to touch as many lives as possible through her diverse body of work.
